Hey everyone, just a quick update for today. I will be recording and editing the podcast tonight and will have it posted up tomorrow. I will be hosting it here as a direct download, and it won’t be too long. I will go over some basic principles of playing the auction house, undercutting vs. price fixing, and the basics behind my method. Basically, I’ll give you guys enough theory that the more adventurous among you will feel safe trying his hand at a purchase or two. I’ll be sticking with theory for this episode because I made the mistake of purchasing an Xbox 360 and Rock Band, and my roommate and I have been too busy working our way through the World Tour mode to really get anywhere in WoW. Next week’s episode, we’ll jump head first into playing the AH on Medivh.

The little time that I have put into WoW in the past few days has been mostly on the Arena Tournament Test realm. This, in my opinion, is the future of WoW PVP and is really the only hope they have of retaining the PVP dollar once WAR and Guild Wars 2 are released… That is, if either of those games even live up to half of the hype that the developers have generated for them. Once you get past the lag-infested right-click spamming of gear acquisition, it’s pure fun. I had more fun dueling on there then I’ve had doing anything else in the past few months of playing WoW. If this becomes a constant option with regular tournaments, Blizzard can count on my subscription dollar for a long time to come.
